October 18, 2018: October Happenings at Hyder's
October Happenings at Hyder's!
Hello Friends of the Marketplace!
Well, the air has become crisp and we have gone from sweltering in shorts to snuggling up in sweaters. Soup is on, and Chef Nick has been busy at work creating more comfort foods for you and your family to enjoy as you cozy up by the fire. Here are a few notable happenings at Hyder’s this month:
Wednesday is for Trying Wine: Can’t make our regular Saturday wine tastings? Join us this Wednesday, October 24th from 5:30-7:30 as Justus Wagner samples his Fall Wine Favorites. RSVP’s are appreciated. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to bring that friend who’s never been here before.
Did you know we also send out a weekly wine email that highlights our weekly tastings, offers special deals, and announces special tastings like this one? If you would like to sign up to join the wine list, click here. Just fill in your information, and check the box next to wine list.
Talkin' Food on WTAG
Love hearing about food trends and letting your mouth water? Listen to WTAG this Saturday, and the Next 5 Saturdays at 10AM as Miriam from Ed Hyder’s joins the Station for “Talkin’ Food” with Ginny. Each week they will discuss all different food topics that will get you in the mood to cook, or at least eat!
The show can be heard on 580 AM or 94.9 FM or...listen on the iHeartradio app on your smart phone.
The gift of food is always in good taste!
We are now proudly carrying Tavernier chocolates from our friends in Brattleboro, VT. These bars are truly a work of art, featuring items like coffee beans, pink peppercorns, hibiscus flowers, and macadamia nuts. Single bars are available, and if you love them as much as we do, we suggest picking up the gift box set for $20.99. Perfect for anyone on your holiday list. We were only given the opportunity to purchase the gift boxes in the fall, so we suggest stocking up on those now. Read more about Tavernier Chocolates here.
