June 28, 2017 - Fourth of July Features

Hello Everybody!

Ed here with more news from the Mediterranean. Happy Birthday, America! Can you believe it? Next week America, as a nation, will be 241 years old. And what better way to celebrate than taking time to relax and gather with friends and family? Picnics? Cookouts? Trips to the beach? Well, we're preparing a lot of new and traditional entrees for you - so spread those tablecloths and fire up those grills, because Summer is about to begin.

And to go with those entrees, Chef Nick has brought back some seasonal favorites:

- California Avocado and Artichoke Dip
- Plum Salsa with ripe black plums, ginger, and jalapeno peppers
- French Watermelon Salad made with imported feta and spices

Also available- Seasonal Cold Soups and Corn Chowder.

Not to be outdone, wine manager Joe Hersh has come up with an American Red, White, and Rose just for the holiday. (He couldn't find a blue wine to complete the theme.)

DON'T FORGET- we will be open regular hours this week (closed, as usual, on Sunday.) And we will be open Monday, July 3rd from 9AM-6PM. We are closing for the holiday on Tuesday the Fourth. Please place your orders early, for best selection and for on time order pickup. Hope to see you soon.
And as always, thanks for shopping with us.
